The Western and Central Pacific Fisheries Commission (WCPFC) was established by the Convention for the Conservation and Management of Highly Migratory Fish Stocks in the Western and Central Pacific Ocean (WCPF Convention) which entered into force on 19 June 2004.

This dataset contains the FSM ‘Nationwide Climate Change Policy 2009’, which was endorsed on December 1st, 2009, and the FSM ‘Nation Wide Integrated Disaster Risk Management and Climate Change Policy 2013’, which was endorsed on June 2013. The Integrated 2013 Policy supersedes the 2009 Climate Change Policy.

The Marine Species Programme of the Secretariat of the Pacific Regional Environment Programme (SPREP) outlines a regional strategy for the cooperative conservation and management of dugongs, marine turtles, whales and dolphins.
