The Government of the Federated States of Micronesia (FSM) signed the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) on June 12, 1992.
This dataset holds all national communications submitted by FSM to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC)
The focus of this policy is to mitigate climate change especially at the international level, and adaptation at the national, state and community levels to reduce the FSM's vulnerability to climate change adverse effects. In this context, reaffirms its social and cultural identity and its people's rights and desire to continue to live sustainably on their islands.
NDCs embody efforts by each country to reduce national emissions and adapt to the impacts of climate change. This NDC highlights the commitment by FSM to reduce GHG emissions.
SPREP wishes to call for tenders from qualified and experienced consultants who can offer their services develop Climate Change Functionality on Federated States of Micronesia’s INFORM Portal and to be completed by 30 June 2023.
