Another Joint Force from Chuuk EPA and Department of Public Works starting to collect junk cars scattered beside the main and secondary road on Weno Island. Removal of junk cars are those abandoned vehicles lying within the 38 feet right of way easment of a public (main) and secondary road. A public awareness on waste management was conducted on Oneisomw for 4 days.  Concepts of 3Rs, Segregation of waste,  proper waste disposal, and etc. were discussed among islanders

A waste survey was conducted by EPA staff with the collaboration of Oneisom Resource Management Committee (ORMC) and island community members for a period of 5 days from  August 16-20, 2021 for 30 selected households.
